Initial-defect handling
Matrain does not offer an extended warranty plan. For products sold directly by Matrain whose order information can be verified, contact us within 30 days of delivery about an initial defect, incorrect shipment or shipping damage. We will confirm the condition and arrange an exchange. If a replacement is unavailable, we will provide refund instructions.
Include the purchase channel, order number, symptoms and circumstances of use. We may ask for photographs or video. Do not return a product before receiving return instructions.
Initial-defect handling does not cover damage caused during use, lost parts or accessories, incorrect use or charging, disassembly or modification, third-party repair, normal wear or age-related deterioration, cosmetic differences that do not affect function, or an unsupported device or communication environment.
Matrain does not provide repair, parts-sales or replacement services for damage or faults outside the initial-defect conditions. Customer-convenience returns and exchanges are not accepted. Products bought from another seller, used or resold products, and private sales are excluded. A gift is eligible only when Matrain can verify its original order.
Built-in battery
The train contains a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. Typical runtime from a full charge is about 100 minutes and varies with speed, use and temperature.
The battery is consumable and available runtime gradually decreases with use and age. It is not user-replaceable, and Matrain does not provide battery replacement or repair. Normal capacity loss and age-related deterioration are not initial defects.
Stop use and charging immediately if you notice unusual heat, swelling, deformation, odor or smoke. Do not open the train or return it before receiving instructions.
Safe use
Matrain's use guideline is age five and up. Do not allow children under five to use the product. Children from age five through Grade 2 should use it with a parent or instructor. Provide adult help for older learners when their experience or development requires it.
Small parts such as color snaps can present ingestion and choking hazards. Use and store them out of reach of infants and pets.
Do not use, charge or store the product in direct sun, a hot vehicle, near a heater or in another high-temperature location. Avoid water, drops, strong impact and pressure. Stop use and charging if the product is abnormal. Do not disassemble, modify or repair the train or battery.
