EXPERIENCE DESIGN

Turn the joyof touching somethinginto time to think.

Seeing, moving and testing can become an entrance to a question. We design the experience around the setting in which it will take place.

Design principle

Do not let the experience end with play.

We do not immediately give the answer. Participants observe movement, make a prediction, test it and think again. The structure remains accessible while leaving room for each person to notice something different.

Workshop

A guided activity with a clear question and enough room to explore.

We adapt the activity to age, group size, time and the role of accompanying adults.

  • Activity and challenge design
  • Facilitation planning
  • On-site operation where agreed

Exhibit

A setting that communicates how to begin without a long explanation.

For a permanent or temporary exhibit, we consider the layout, first action, instructions and reset process together.

  • Hands-on exhibit flow
  • Space and equipment planning
  • Staff-facing operating information

Collaboration

Build with the knowledge already present in the venue.

We respect the organizer's purpose and the staff's experience. The final activity should belong to the place that will operate it.

Before a plan is fixed

Start with the audience, place and intended learning.

Matrain is a small team, so scope and availability need to be confirmed. We will be direct about what we can and cannot support.
